Just some things for all of those making derogatory comments about this man...


1. He was apparently living on the streets when he was 14 years old.

2. The girls he was pimping were apparently of age...17-25...so not really sure where the pedo charges came from. If someone has more info, feel free to post.

3. He was never convicted of raping anyone.

4. The women were former exotic dancers, in love with him and members of his gang, and willing participants.

Of course, that does not mean they deserved to be beat by him, which is certain that he did do. He was not the leader of this operation, and one of the girls he pimped believed he was only guilty of doing it because he himself was afraid of the guy who ran the operation, and what he would do to the girls if he didn't beat them.


This in no way is to make excuses for him. He did a disgusting thing. But he did his time and declared that he would never ever return to prison and would turn his life around by hard work and dedication to boxing. And that's what he did.

He grew up rough, made bad decisions, paid for them, and turned his life around. Continue to blame him if you will, but you shouldn't judge someone whose shoes you have never walked in. Who knows what we'd do if we were living on the street at 14 years old.

As for me, I'm hoping this man pulls through and makes a full recovery. I'm also hoping that all of his victims are well and living prosperous lives.
