Been reluctant to publicise the news that a film is going to be made about Horn's difficult youth and how his trainer helped to give him the confidence to be a world class boxer. Of course a woman is behind this so expect lots of emotional icing on the cake and not much fact or actual boxing stuff. Still any publicity is good publicity so they say but really.............

Jack Horn's story would've been a perfect real life Rocky movie, IF his win over Pacquiao wasn't such a blatant hometown robbery AND if Horn and his coach didn't sound like pompous jackasses in every interview lol

I can't stand Horn and his team. They are some of the worst crybabies and complainers I have ever seen. They have all these excuses for Crawford slaughtering him. They want to drag potential opponents to Brisbane so they can rob them. No smart champion is going to defend his world title against Horn in Horn's back yard and I doubt Horn can win a world title on neutral ground. I'll pass on the Horn movie.

Really puts into perspective how privileged American and UK fighters are that ONE hometown decision robbery in Australia reminds you of how big hometown advantages are.

Make every UK and USA fighter fight away from home.

You can have fights in Russia with a Russian referee and 3 Russian judges, a fight in China with etc. Etc.

Yes, fighting in the US from another country often involves complaints of US home town/country advantage yet when another country gives it's fighter a home country advantage the world stops and spins backwards.

Horn's manager/trainer is a tosser but Horn himself is your average family type man, so average that it's almost embarassing. Horn may or may not have gained a home country advantage against Packy but so what, it happens all the time. But plenty of foreign boxers have fought in Australia and been given the win, Tevin Farmer was it recently? I forget. The bloke who fought and beat Billy Dib.

He deserves a movie to tell his heart wrenching story.
