Well im hearing Fury is stepping back now and doesnt want the rematch immediately which give Wilder no excuses to not face Joshua. But i suspect Wilder will just continue to duck Joshua and had Fury not stepped back i think any negotiations would of fallen apart due to them not being able to agree on a location for the fight, as in Wilder wont travel after being helped from officials in his last 2 fights, the only 2 fights where he fought anybody worth talking about.
Will Wilder fight Fury/Joshua next or duck?

What makes you so confident? Fury might price himself out and AJ might not be willing to compromise further. Then that leaves Breazeale but as I stated on another thread, Hearn has told Breazeale to let it go to purse bid so does Wilder risk letting the fight go to DAZN? Would that be worse than fighting Joshua or Fury for a split he doesn't like?Comment

Aj & his team fights who they KNOW Aj will "smash." Its a reason why he ducked 50 million that he ASKED for.Comment

He can't fight Ortiz, it is Fury, Joshua or Breazeale. It's a myth that Deontay is now in a power position, he either has to give into Fury's or Joshua's demands or face Breazeale which may end up going to purse bid that Hearn could win an put on DAZN. So Wilder doesn't have a strong negotiating position because he only has 3 options.Comment

After the Fury fight, his team will be advising him to take the highest purse against Joshua. From a business standpoint, a Fury rematch is last on the agenda.
The only way the Joshua fight doesn't get made is if Wilder outright refuses to face him, in which case they'll advise him to reconsider, then he'll be told that Fury is unavailable, then they'll let him know of the $20-30+M difference between a Joshua and Breazeale fight.
If Wilder's spite is strong enough, he'll take the Breazeale fight. If he can be reasoned with, the Joshua fight is up next.Comment
