      He chase the money

He had to go with a promoter at age 34. He only has 3 or 4 good fights left in him. He lose on Feb 3rd he still can make some good money. With out the multi year deal he wouldn't have any guaranteed money. Good decision. Top Rank better hope he win if not they will get hosed like Hearn did with Khan.

Thats because Espizona talks with Haymon but Haymon can't control what Michel does for his fighter as his promoter. That is why Haymon prefers his fighters not to sign with promoters so that he can control everything.

Now the WBC and WBO light heavyweight titles are now controlled by ESPN, the IBF is controlled by DAZN and the WBA with Bivol is also likely going to DAZN.

That is why Haymon had to have the WBA create that fake interim WBA belt for Marcus Browne in his fight vs Badou Jack even though Jack already had it and gave it back to avoid facing Bivol. LOLOLOL.

Where are Bivol and Beterbiev at? Can they both sign at ESPN? Cuz if so we could see a tournament on ESPN with all four champions. Im sure Al would let Badou go to ESPN if it was best for his fighter and all four belts were there. Badou already has a loss anyway, he's not a champion anyway, he aint some young undefeated star Haymon is worried about getting beat on another network, and then Barrera could join, Joe Smith, etc.

Or is Beterbiev already signed somewhere else? And Bivol?
