I think this is Tank's last fight @ 130! He has said so multiple times this year, that he wants to go to 135! I don't know what his relationship is like with Mayweather, but it doesn't seem good! Tank is only 24, but if he wants P4P status, etc. he has to grow up...fast! Berchelt and Farmer probably won't happen, and we know how that goes with networks, etc.! What I hope for is more realistic...Devin Haney, Mikey Garcia, and possibly Regis Prograis!

His chances were very slim but he does have that equalizer in KO power in both hands and he also attacks the body which I suspect is Loma’s weakness besides bringing constant pressure!


So he at least would’ve had a chance likely put up a better fight than Walters, Russell Jr and Rico!

He loses a close competitive fight Or even drops Loma once or rocks him badly he could ante up a rematch at 135 for more glory!

Now he’s stuck with Haney and Easter jr!

Don’t see the other fights happening due to no money or fan interest thru different networks like a Loma vs Tank fight would!

I think that's what he's quoted as saying in the article. That the only way to settle the debate is for him to fight Loma. I don't think Davis is on Loma's radar so until he is, maybe folks should hold off on that s hit talk in this regard. Fights get made when both parties want the fight and feel the timing is right. Loma has clearly stated that he'll fight for late winter early spring then fight Mickey after Mickey fights Spence.

I still can't figure why it's a problem for a two-division champ to say he feels like he should be in the p4p discussion to some people.

One, Davis IS NOT 2 DIVISION World Champ.
Two, Loma's desire for specific opponents NEVER had effect on who he fought in his fights (Salido rematch, younger Rigo, Mikey, ALL chanpions at 126, 130 etc.) but he assured Davis is on his radar recently. Loma said that he doesn't believe in Mikey fight in 2019 due to weight jump to 147 and hopes he fights too-much-talking Davis at 130 or 135. He added that 135 looks big as boxers are so bigger than him so he doesn't reject fighting at 130 again.

Are these guys good/big enough for Floyd and Arum to come together? I don't think so. Maybe in a couple of years when there's no other alternative.
