Hell, Rances didn't even make it clear cut to win his second divisional title against Shafikov, and him getting the nod against Relikh in their first outing was just plain wrong. I will go out and say that although I'm a big fan of Kyrils there's at least 2 guys at 140 I think can beat him (Prograis and Taylor) and I'm 50/50 on Baranchyk and Hooker so I ain't quite sure how Rances thinks he can fit into that picture.

And that's even before we start figuring Mikey into the 140 equation.

Still. Good luck to him. Always liked Rances, but he just never reached the potential it looked like he might have.

It hurts to see how ugly this guy fights, how awkward he slaps and how poor his defense is for a guy that his whole family has been in the ring for decades, I can only speculate that is a lack of dedication, very frustrating to see him just get by on gift decisions.
