I mean, of course, that's why Vitali made up three different injuries between April and November 2005 to avoid facing the man. Then he leaves boxing altogether? Why do I get the feeling Vitali returns if Rahman loses his title?
I'm not saying Rahman would beat Vitali, but I am saying that Vitali is afraid of him. Honestly, I do not know why. But I don't see any other way around it. Just like Castillo with Corrales. To blatantly get out of fights, fear is the only answer.Comment

DiegoFuego - yeah, i am not surprised you think that. he fought lewis on a ten day notice, but, oh ****, rahman scares the **** out of him. get a clue.
if you have actually followed the heavyweight division, then you should know the facts.
and you call rahman "the man"? lol. a healthy vk would demolish rahman. and for the record, since you haven't seemed to follow the circumstances - he has been misdiagnosed the first time around and didn't feel strong enough to fight after having KNEE SURGERY. i would rather see him retire than have a ****ty preformance with injuries as an excuse for why he took rahman out in ten instead of five.Comment

I just do not understand this whole hatred of the Klitchkos thing. I'm not a big fan but there is no-one out there right now in the heavyweight division who is significantly better.
There is absolutely NO justification to saying that Vitali retired due to fear of Rahman. Rahman's record is spotty at best. Vitali took on Lewis, the best fighter of that era. He did excellently against him whilst taking quite a beating. He was stopped on cuts despite having a very even fight. WHY ON EARTH would he be scared of Rahman, a man who got knocked through the ropes by Maskaev? Scared enough to retire?
If this is your theory, please grow up.
Vitali wasn't a great but he never ducked anyone.Comment

lol,,,he was practically begging lewis for a rematch with his eye hanging open but is afraid to fight rahman who was knocked out of the ring by maskaev,,,beaten by a shot holyfield,,,rocked and beaten by ruiz and hasnt been able to put a heavyweight on his back for years,,,,lol. vitali has serious injuries that required surgery. your clearly showing your a hater and making it very obviousOriginally posted by DiegoFuego

I don't hate Vitali at all. I thought he could be the next Heavyweight Champ after Lewis. I'd never pick him to beat Lewis, but when Lewis retired, the division was there for Vitali. Instead, he makes one defense and runs from Rahman. You can't tell me he didn't run from Rahman.Comment
