As I'm typing:
I wouldn't be totally shocked considering Ward said he would come back recently for the right deal
I figure I better get a source link to make sure I got that quote right. First link I open is this:

The link also indicates a date of: Published on Nov. 9, 2018 and it should ne noted that Canelo inked the DAZN deal on Oct 17th.
I'm like huh, thats interesting and a bit shocking if I don't say so myself.
Kind of reads like he's almost hoping for a really big carrot to be dangled in front of him doesn't it?
I'm not sure thats what I read or saw and I'm feeling doubtful so I go back to Google. I hit the Tools tab and select Custom Range from the drop down menu. Start date Oct 1, end date Dec 19.
I found it, not the same source (Boxingscene probably has this in here although Google didn't give me a result) though. The article was posted on Dec 3th 2018.

IMO, Fielding was a test for 168 and I got on board with that after the fight and now Oscar said:

Followed with the #UWillBeShocked tweet, it only makes sense it'll be something big. He's obviously NOT fighting Lemieux next. I don't think Canelo grabbing another strap from attempting Smith would a shocker, getting a strap at LHW or higher doesn't fit the bill, then you start looking at the rosters at GBP and DAZN.
GBP has nothing for Canelo at JMW to HW, zero unless you count Munguia which I personally dont.
DAZN shockers could be:
I don't think many people would be shocked by any of that.
Ward would shock people and maybe a McGregor or Khabib fight would shock too. Oscar got MMA fighters now so we could see someone from there. Canelo vs Tito Ortiz in a Boxing match would shock me though.
DAZN got a lot of money and can dangle a very large carrot of Wards head.
