The thing is they need to put in enough of these types of fights on ESPN+ in attempt to increase subscribers. You can't just put lower level cards or cards with lesser known names on ESPN+. This is why Arum said Lomachenko will be on ESPN+ in 2019. Not sure if he follows up on that but I mean he did put Crawford on ESPN+ against Horn.

Let Lopez and Haney fight it out to see who prevails to earn a shot at bigger fights. If it is a close fight, both could come out winners and rise up. They shouldn't be allowed to fight no-hopers to get a shot.

          Teofimo Lopez’s ‘Takeover’ continues
          Ring Magazine
          Michael Woods

We touched on the future. Could that include a showdown with The Ring Magazine/WBA/WBO lightweight champion Vasiliy Lomachenko? The father was thinking along those lines when he saw “Loma” and company at the Madison Square Garden hotel on fight week and he declared that his son would get the better of Loma. In fact, he used tougher terms. It didn’t almost come to blows, he said. The elder Lopez said he shook Loma’s hand near the elevator and he didn’t like the way Loma looked at him. “We’re going to take everything you have. You better get ready because nobody’s going to remember you after my son’s finished with you,” he recalled telling Lomachenko. The father said he won’t go in like that again. “Loma was just laughing,” in reaction, said Junior...

Junior was on a roll in this session but he did allow that “Loma is a great fighter.” [B]But I pushed the issue…Let’s see the young gun challenge the master at the top of his game. Maybe it’s too early…but if the kid wants it, book it! Excessive marination be damned.[B]Book it...

But sorry for the cold water…Father and son both said they think this isn’t a collision course situation though. They think business interests make it not so likely a mash-up. “2019 will be my last year at 135 pounds,” Teofimo said. “I’m not gonna wait for no guy.”

That is a great card. Definitely the best overall card of 2019 so far.

I expect that Bob is telling the truth. UFC are putting on some PPV level March ups on ESPN+. I expect ESPN to be going all out with App content next year. Gotta get a jump now the app content because apps are the way of the future.

Whaaa?! Let's be serious, Tommasone has never won the European title. At most, he won the less relevant European Union title.

Even so that would be fine. He could have a 2 win 25 loss record and I would be ok with it. Valdez is coming off a series of hard and brutal fights with injuries and layoff. This dude he is fighting could be as soft as cottonelle and I won't complain. He needs to ease back into this LOL

                      I love this already

This is the boxing nights I love, several cards to rejoice beginning early night and finishing between 1:00am to 1:30am.
