This kid just grew two more inches, what is he know 5 foot 10? I see ryan possibly being 6 foot 1 and being at welterweight in two years.

Agreed. This is only a snapshot into what his career will be. He'll grab a belt, then become too big for the weight.

With his height, can top off at Middleweight someday, at least.

Not that he wont be a good fighter, he may well put it all together, but sometimes guys peak as hot prospects and never become more than that.

Ryan is a prospect, Shakur is a prospect, Teofimo is a prospect. Verdejo is now just a 25 year old man trying to get his shot.
Agreed, at 25, he's a year or two from becoming a gatekeeper.

Some guys just don't work out.

Lets be real, only special fighters are able to compete at young age and beat top fighters.

Agreed, Oscar and Floyd bloomed early and became legends, BUT you have to take this shiiit up with Crawford, Spence, Charlo as well. Those guys are way older, and still have a long list of Cab drivers and construction workers on their resume.

Also guys like Loma, GGG, Thurman etc, can be included here. They were all fighting bum ass pros or amateurs you've never heard of at Ryan's age. Yet, they enjoy lots of praise, all while looking amazing fighting shiiit opponent, after shiiit opponent.

But with Ryan it's HURRY UP and fight a name kid, you're a 20 year old dinosaur.

At least this kid just turned 20, not 28 or 31.

Out of his class of prospects the 25 year olds or younger: Shakur Stevenson, Teofimo Lopez, Devin Haney, Vergil Ortiz Jr., Rolly Ramero he comes in last as far as talent in the ring compared to being more popular than those guys
I was pissed at his opponent. What a clown and a waste of a fight.

We learned very little from Ryan's new trainer input because the opponent was a straight up clown.

He showed patience, defense, that's about it because the opponent was too awful. Not Ryan's fault and he took care of the guy anyway.

First off Haney looks like you’re typical potshotting point fighters nothin special at all, Teofimo looks like the goods but Garcia is not that far beind the only difference is people love to hate the kid he’s too popular already so they feel the need to bring him down unlike Teofimo and Haney who probably have half the fans Ryan does.

As for tank the guy was already a champ and should not be considered a prospect but considering his out of the ring behavior success for him in the ring isn’t looking to good right now.
Hope the HIGH expectations you have of this kid pans out.
I know (serious) talent when i see one.
For my money, he is not one even at 20.
              Time will tell.

Oh and just because some one else does not see what you see , does not make them haters.

For the kids sake i hope i am wrong.

The kid is growing man, I still remember him being only like 5 foot 7 two years ago, he is 5 foot 10 now when you grow in your late teens you are a late bloomer like Garcia, he will probably stop growing by 22.

and couldn't make 130 anymore. by 25 he will grow into his man strength, his bones will get harder and his muscles will get thicker and he will be at welterweight

He will fight at 147 and probably walk around at 170 and cut down from there similar to Oscar.

LOL wtf are you talking about man. Garcia isn't going to get any taller the kid is 20 years old now. Gaining any height after turning 20 is very very rare occurrence. He basically has the same build as Oscar.

Only growing he will do from here is in weight because his frame is screaming 140-147 by 25 and possibly 154 after that..

My little bro is the same way hit a nice spurt at 16-17 just like Garcia but he's done now. Once your shoulders round out your done getting taller...

Chavez jr was already 6'1 by 20-21 he did not grow until he was 23
