This would have been a great fight 3-4 years ago. Can't really blame Charlo though (much as I might want to) it isn't his fault. I just hope Korobov can make 160, his only fight since 2016 he came in over the LHW limit @ 175-1/2 lbs

Why doesn’t he demand a bigger name like Jacobs, the fighters are the bosses but they act like they have no say as long as he gets his bum of the month and check but dude expect a free canelo fight without earning it.

Ok lets say he calls out Jacobs as you wish. You be Jacobs. Would you

1. Answer the call out and agree to fight on 1 weeks notice or

2. Say nothing and wait to see if Canelo is going to fight you now that Lemuix is overweight (even though Coka said no Jacobs or GGG may 4th)?

Korobov once beat Usyk in the amateurs and was a great a fighter. He was schooling Andy Lee up until he got caught with a good shot. He has been fighting at168-175 since that lose but if he makes 160 healthy and comes to fight, wont be surprised if he upsets Charlo.

Not when he has a fight at 175 scheduled in a week and when his last fight was a comeback 6 rounder after being out for 2 years. Only a punchers chance. Complete mismatch

Cept Matvey ain't a puncher, and when he tries to be he gets wobbled or KTFO. Still think it's a better - or at least more interesting - fight than Monroe though. Even if Matvey's at 70 or 80% of his former self I think Jermall will struggle to look good, although he'll probably KHTFO eventually.

Lucky this fight was scrambled together at all, Korobov is shot and will get stopped in 6, he was being touted to be the next big thing at 160 but Lee took his soul. Still hope I'm wrong.

Few years back Korobov would have more than a good chance but not right now. Inactivity and the fact that he has to lose weight in a unhealthy way will be his undoing.

I agree. Still, somehow I'm more interested in this matchup than the original.
