I'd rate Canelo over GGG at the full 160 higher than his win vs Cotto at 155 when he initially won the WBC strap. Dude Khan @155 is a weak defense no Matter how you cut it. Khans has no credentials above 147, I barely even rate him there. 140 he was legit. WAS. 155? No way. He dumped the strap because of the purse split if it was mandated... (I didn't follow negotiations at the time) didn't Canelo challenge GGG at the full 160 after though?? fighting the Champ at MW at the full 160, which GGG legitimately was, I consider Cottos MW "reign" a farce. Personally I give Canelo a pass for dumping the strap. The GGG win was more impressive. As for the testing, dude Canelo popped for Clen early this year no denying that... and As far as I know there was testing done for the 2nd fight in September and no positive tests right?? Canelo beat GGG dude.

I Paid attention how GGG dropped his belt to duck Derev and brought up in weight yet another 154lbs bum who was not only 2-2 in his last 4 fights but also was coming back on short notice from a 2 year layoff. Just so he can get his money fight. Yet you forget he turned down the fight a year prior cuz he didn’t want to fight Alvarez at 155 but was willing to fight Floyd at 154 lbs. But I guess you didn’t notice.

Saturday night was just a side show! True fight knew going into the fight Rocky was chump change, just look at the odds!

            Rocky was no Rocky!
Hell he wasn't even a Spider Rico!

I wanted to see David Lemieux fight. Disappointing night.

They knew he was weak to the everything. That's why they chose him.

There are probably 5 guys at welterweight who would beat fielding at super mw. It was a glorified keep busy fight. Now it's time to face an elite fighter in their prime.
