I wonder if they will ever put Canelo in with someone that can move a bit?

The last was Lara and he arguably lost. They have avoided anyone with legs since then apart from Khan but he couldn't take a shot at lightweight, nevermind Middleweight, so we know why they picked him.

Gomez already made it clear to Warren that they didn't fancy making Canelo v Saunders when Saunders had just beat Lemieux

          "obnoxious and hard to like"?

          Are you describing Oscar,
or are you describing 95% of the regular posters here?

Mayweather fought berto but he has a long list of great wins as Canelo is also building that list. Every fight can’t be a huge one. I would say that if you fight every 3 out of 5 being difficult opponents that’s reasonable

They put Canelo in against Golovkin, twice in a row,
when the whole world seemed to believe Golovkin was an
              indestructible, unbeatable machine.
I don't think they fear the likes of Saunders or Jacobs.
Stylistically, they are not 'exciting' match-ups, especially
Saunders, who arguably doesn't deserve to be mentioned.
Jacobs, on the other hand, is tried, tested, and in a good
position to demand a Canelo showdown.

Why doesn't Saunders deserved to be mentioned? He beat Lemiuex who will probably fight Canelo at some point, we know that.

Don't say because he failed a test because so did Canelo.

Saunders is one of the very best in the division, so he deserves to be mentioned.

I'd love to see canelo lay this loud mouth amatuer (saunders) on his back. I don't think saunders has the discipline and is a cut below. I'd love to see this fight though I honestly dislike saunders.
