Great news!!! I know Munguia's promoter in Mexico wanted him to sign to Top Rank in the US. Great to hear Munguia had it his way. I love hearing fighters able to stay to thier promoter of thier wish!

all the belts that exist in his division apart from his are with showtime so it's safe to say he won't be having a unification fight for a while

WBO top 15 ranking. J-Rock is fighting Hurd so he's out of the equation. I can see Brook taking the fight if he doesn't get Khan because of the DAZN/Hearn relationship. I wouldn't have a problem with a Brook-Munguia fight.

Despite having a strap they're building him like a prospect. Dennis Hogan is after this.

This is good for him. He couldn't beat any of the other champs at his weight anyway. Let him fight mismatches then be built up as a sacrifice for Canelo.

He'll make a few million for it along the way. Good move by his team.

2 Canelo fights and probably 4 Munguia fights will most likely be headliners for the 12 GB cards. Ryan Garcia vs Cancio should be a fight they try to make by the end of 2019.
