Fielding? If you thought Chavez Jr was a worn out walking punching bag then Fielding is one of those hung up Cow carcasses from the Rocky movies. How ironic.

Too much speed and power????? Where was all of Khan's power when he failed to KO a cherry picked lousy welterweight his last fight? Where was his power when he couldn't even hurt Diaz? Khan is just an average punching welterweight. Fielding fought his whole career at 168 and 175 and only big punchers Smith and Canelo KOed him. He fought lots of guys who hit much harder than Khan. In contrast Khan has been hurt, knocked down and knocked out by many guys who are much smaller and don't punch nearly as hard as Fielding. Khan is so overrated by some. Any decent super middleweight including Feilding knocks Khan out.

You start your question off with a lie. Khan was not destroying Canelo up till the 5th round. Canelo was never bothered at all by the few punches Khan landed. By computer count Canelo landed more punches than Khan in every round and he was hurting Khan with body punches and had him ready to go and Khan getting KOed was a certainty. Khan was losing on all three of the judges's cards. The Canelo who fought Fielding is much better than the Canelo who fought Khan. Fielding isn't a real champion at 168 but he is a top 10 168 pound fighter and any top 10 168 pound fighter easily KOs Khan. An average punching 168 pounder hits harder than a hard punching welterweight and we know Khan's chin can't take hard punches even from hard punching lightweights and jr welterweights so Fielding knocks him out just as sure as death and taxes.
