I think he’d stopped him around the same time. Doesn’t matter if it’s to the head or body. Reason why GGG couldn’t throw anything to Canelo’s body is because of his speed to counter and solid power. Fielding has neither, so expect GGG to go on attack mode as well.

Its a test. Not every fighter dares to be great and take those test, take GGG for instance never once ina decade has he tested himself at 168lb a weight class above cause its not a easy feat. Weigth classes are created for a reason.
Here’s my final word for tonight.

It wasn’t a test. Everyone who knows boxing knows it. This was not daring to be great. I can’t believe someone would fall for that con job. It was a stay busy, make money, get pub for the himself and DAZN in the media market of the world fight. And get some BS title that he can announce to gullible fans that no one who knows boxing believes is worth sht.

No hate for this fight for Canelo. Id have done it given his position. But no credit. And if Golovkin had ever done this, one fight against a crap opponent, he wouldn’t and shouldn’t have received any credit.

If Canelo’s faces a legit top 168lbs fighter than be gets credit. Not fighting this tomato can tonight. Giving him credit diminishes others who are facing true test and daring to be great.

Compare Garcia vs Spence now that is daring to be great and jumping weight classes.

This is the kind of fight that distinguishes the fans from the fanboys/nuthuggers.

The 9th best in a division of thousands of guys isn’t a “top 168lbs fighter”?

Jesus wept man do you hear yourself

Edit: apparently this site doesn’t let you link the ring magazine ratings but see for yourself they have rocky at 9

                Agree.

Ironic that a guy with War Mikey is throwing around daring to be great for Canelo fighting Fielding.

Rocky Fielding is a test, LOL! Yeah he sure looked great tonight. He was the worst fighter Canelo has fought since I can’t remember and by a significant margin.

So according to you fielding was 1) not a champion, 2) not a top fighter, 3) easily beaten by GGG

You are 100% wrong on the first 2 counts and because G doesn’t have the testicular fortitude to move up wrong on the 3rd count also

GGG would stop Fielding too, he might not be as sharp as Canelo with his body attack but he's got much more power

GGG would have iced that brit
