I think they're pushing hard for Miller vs Bryan because Bryan has the WBA interim and it would set up (or they would then say) Miller is WBA mando. Miller could do enough talking to generate interest and it would easily do well at MSG.
DAZN 2019: Eddie Hearn got drunk last night & spilled the beans
Collapse

This sounds completely plausible.Hearn was in an NYC bar last night, and after having a few too many drunk, he was loudly boasting about his 2019 plans.
According to drunk Eddie:- He has convinced Amir Khan to take the Kell Brook fight.
- Joshua will move off the April 13 date.
- Khan will fight Brook at Wembley on April 13.
- AJ will fight Jarrell Miller in May at Madison Square Garden.
Hearn was also bragging about having convinced Madison Square Garden to take the horrendous Demetrius Andrade vs Akavov fight by promising them that the Garden will get Joshua vs. Miller without having to bid against Barclays or anyone else.
All the Joshua talk about Wilder is meaningless. Joshua and Hearn know that Wilder is contractually obligated to do the rematch with Fury, and they also know that AJ is fighting either Whyte or Miller next, no matter what Wilder says.
As far as a rematch clause, I don't there was one that covered a draw for either guy. But, I also think that you won't have to twist either guy's arm to do it again.
The money will be as good as any fight either could have.Comment

The next mandatory defense for the WBA super champion isn't due until well into 2020, but if Hearn wants the WBA to make Miller the mandatory sooner, they'll do as Hearn asks. Just as the WBO revoked Povetkin's mandatory status when Hearn asked, so he could use Whyte as WBO mandatory to delay Pulev. The WBA and WBO are going to do whatever Hearn wants them to do.Comment

Whyte is more dangerous then pulev style wise to Joshua don't be ******.The next mandatory defense for the WBA super champion isn't due until well into 2020, but if Hearn wants the WBA to make Miller the mandatory sooner, they'll do as Hearn asks. Who do you think will fight AJ next?Comment

Even if that's true, Hearn controls Whyte. He doesn't control Pulev. So the Whyte fight is still preferable for Hearn.
There was no other reason to beg the WBO not to count Povetkin as mandatory even though they'd repeatedly said he was mandatory.
Hearn needs Whyte counted as a mandatory in April to put him ahead of Pulev. Otherwise Hearn can't make that fight.Comment

Boxing puts on fights that make the most money. Pulev cancelled 2 fights already with Joshua it lost him his rankings at some point. Whyte is ahead of Pulev simply because he hasn't lost in 3 years and is the WBC number one ranked.Even if that's true, Hearn controls Whyte. He doesn't control Pulev. So the Whyte fight is still preferable for Hearn.

Why do you continue to lie on the forum is a more important question ? must be a mod or something bc this is getting dumb now to insinuate AJ is avoiding a guy whos refused to fight him twice maybe THREE times ?

Thank you for your opinion on how things SHOULD work, but that's not how things DO work. Pulev is IBF mandatory. Whether you like it or not, AJ is going to have to fight him or be stripped.
To try to delay the Pulev fight, Hearn asked the WBO not to count Povetkin as a mandatory defense, even though Povetkin was publicly declared the mandatory by the WBO multiple times. Hearn wanted to finagle his way into Whyte counting as a mandatory defense so that Pulev could be delayed.Comment

Hearn has already addressed this. He's said the WBO is next, but not due til October next year. Joshua can fight whoever he wants in April. Said its more than likely Joshua will never fight Pulev, as he hopes the Joshua vs Wilder/Fury fight will happen before its due. If he unifies he'll be dropping belts in favour of the biggest money fights, if unattractive mandatories are called. The next mandatory defense for the WBA super champion isn't due until well into 2020, but if Hearn wants the WBA to make Miller the mandatory sooner, they'll do as Hearn asks.
