  • Artem Dalakyan convinsingly beats Gregorio Lebron with strange TKO ruling.

Box in Ukraine continues it's shameful tradition since Victor Postol's "win" to this day when it seems like someone just can't stop himself from "assuring" the right result even when it is unneeded.

Dalakian, WBA flyweight champion, was convincingly winning his active and fearless opponent scoring several Knock Downs against him (including not counted too) and finishing Round 6 with 3 Knock Downs in a row. Except even though Lebron's legs were dancing in a Bamby way seconds before 2nd KD came, he still raised up in few seconds afterwards. Including the third time.

Lebron was so quick standing up that ref decided to start a countdown on the third KD which you don't see often unless situation is really not that one-sided as 3KD in a round may tell you so. The culmination was a bomb though.

On count 8, 6 seconds after Gregorio Lebron got up and started walking gaining all powers which still left in him, and 10 seconds before 6-th round ends... referee for some reason decided to wave it off in the face of ready boxer without asking him if he wants to continue! That was astonishing to almost everyone including Lebron and half the ukrainian commentator brigade...

Yes, multiple knock downs in 6 rounds including 3 in the last one showed minuscule chances for contender but starting the count and waving off to a challenger in a championship bout who also was standing for 6 seconds already? Well, according to our news feed there were no collusio... I mean no contradiction in this fight.
