Comments Thread For: Rocky Fielding: I Can't Think About Judging Of Canelo Fight

NEW YORK Rocky Fielding is well aware of the controversies caused by the judging of the two Canelo Alvarez-Gennady Golovkin fights. Huge factions of fans and media believe Golovkin did enough to win their initial middleweight title fight in September 2017, when Alvarez moved more than usual and boxed the then-champion to a widely disputed draw. Their 12-round rematch was a more competitive bout, but Alvarez's majority-decision victory over Golovkin on September 15 generated great debate about the scorecards as well.

He has a very good point, though I don't think it will be a factor

True. If Canelo wins by controversy, then Rocky market value goes up. He’ll gain more followers, deals, etc. The man will be a decent draw at 168. He could demand bigger paydays and other stuff. So, he definitely sees the bigger picture.

Fielding is going to take a Rocky I type beating, but I hope he's getting paid well.

Fielding is going to take a Rocky I type beating, but I hope he's getting paid well. It's better for him if he doesn't take too much punishment. A likely result would be a ko for Canelo via a body punch. It's an awful fight but maybe Canelo is getting a gimme before real challenges.

Probably a little harder fight for Canelo than the most peoples believe. Fielding is very limited, but he have a outragous advantages on weight and height. Plus he's a game fighter who can hurt someone with his body left hook(specialy versus a smal guy).

                  A gift for Alvarez

In my eyes, Saul is too complete and too smart for losing tonight. No need to have juges, Canelo by 8 rounds stoppage.

This test run to see if he can handle the size of guys like Jacobs, charlo, Andrade, Just not as dangerous while still picking up a title, it’s not a horrible fight just make me think canelo should’ve fought Chavez at the full 68
