Canelo being the cash cow will always generate criticism. It is true though that he will need real threats to face in order for people to subscribe to DAZN. Thinking down the line of his 11 fight deal, the amount they've promised Canelo won't add up if they can't attract new subscribers and only way to do so is to line him up with real threats that could win against him.

4 of those were very good to great fighters. 1 of them he lost to. Another he arguably lost to twice. Hell many even argue he lost to trout. Lara was arguable.

Angulo, Chavez Jr and Khan as opponents are laughable.

He has a good resume, but his performance against those top opponents is questionable. He got favors in many of them.

You Mean the same Khan Mayweather ducked? wasn't Khan trolling Mr. IV himself when he sign up for Canelo? when Mr. IV ask his fans who would they have him fight between Khan or Maidana II, most people pick Khan.
