Smashed hell out of him for 12 rounds to the closest possible split decision victory? You gunning for a Revisionist of the Year award or something?I'm not even a Canelo fan, but there was no "robbery" that's a completely ****** comment. Canelo beat GGG hands down, from round one to 12. GGG's midsection and face were totally busted at the end of the fight, HE WAS BACKING UP THE WHOLE ENTIRE FIGHT, a thing that had never ever happened before. He was bullied, humiliated, exposed. Only because he has the greatest chin in middleweight today, didn't he get knock down even once, ONLY BECAUSE OF THAT.
You ridiculously call yourself "GGG" on here, you say Canelo is fighting bums, so his last two fights, against your idol GGG, HE THEN FOUGHT A BUM TWICE??? OMG you just don't make any sense at all!

thank you for answering that for me these morons don't have any idea. Canelo just fought a war 3 months ago with the second best middleweight in the world and now gets criticised by the haters for going UP in weight to fight a champion. Smh.Dude, you must be one of the least knowledgeable fans of this sport. Nobody in boxing has a better resume than Canelo, and Canelo ALREADY fought a rematch with GGG. He won that convincingly. He is now stepping up in weight to fight another champion. Who are these bums you are talking about?Comment

About five inches in height seemed to separate Rocky Fielding from Canelo Alvarez as they stood face to face following their weigh-in Friday at Madison Square Garden. They were much closer in weight when the fighters each stepped on the New York State Athletic Commission's scale moments earlier. Mexico's Alvarez, 28, officially weighed a career-high 167.4 pounds for his shot at Fielding's WBA world super middleweight title Saturday night at The Garden. The 31-year-old Fielding, of Liverpool, England, weighed in at 167.6 pounds for the first defense of a title he won five months ago.

why would Alvarez weigh 167 after stating that he intends to return to 160?
just like he weighed the maximum for Chavez
why ?
1) you come in at your best fighting weight
2) you run your camp/preparation as close as possible to how you intend to run it when you return to 160..... to minimize any affect the weight/training will have both in this fight and in your next camp at 160
makes no sense whatsoever?
the most he should weigh is 162-163..... and nope, a few extra pounds will not help him absorb the punches from Fielding any better..... that is just having excess weight to drag around for 12 rounds
when Cotto prepared for 157, he weighed 153..... when Cotto prepared for 155, he weighed 153..... his best fighting weight was obviously, 153.....
..... if Alvarez insists that he fights better with any excess weight above 160, then he should be fighting at SMW.....
it made no sense for Chavez eitherComment

I agree that he does need to fight him soon, but right this minute nobody knows anything about the situation except the wbc & ggg,til ggg makes the duck of charlo official then of course Canelo will wait til the situation is clear.Comment

Dude GGG doesn’t have what it takes to clearly beat canelo the 2nd fight showed that. Add the fact that canelo is the money fighter bad and is guaranteed at least 1 judge in his pocket why bother? No one wants to see the trilogy to get the same resultsComment
