      Ortiz Jr is wrong here. NYSAC is very strict and they forced Charlo/JRock fight to be postponed because Charlo had an lasik operation just a few months prior. You have to wait a certain period of time to fight unless the surgery is mandatory due to a medical condition.

              Is this guy serious? That is elective surgery that he could have put off until after the fight. From my understanding, once you have lasik surgery you are supposed avoid contact sports like boxing, football, etc. He would be more vulnerable to blindness from trauma.
