Since Canelo came on the scene he has been fighting old fighters or fighters that has been brought up from a weight class below. Yes I know he fought GGG but he let him age there are young and capable fighters that are more and willing to fight him such as, Charlo, Jacobs, booboo. Come on that’s what we want too see fire against fire. It’s time to level the playing field!!! Now he going up to 68 to fight the weakest link how long will we stand for this bull?! I don’t think anyone had GGG as the best. A lot think he’s a bum and I know you’ve said he’s a terrible fighter.

Half said he got a gift draw in fight I and the majority felt fight II was another one he lost against a bum who’s in his late 30s.

Not so sure why you could have Canelo rated so highly if you are a guy who bases it all on level of competition since he’s obvioulsy not the #1 guy based on skills and his best accomplishment is a couple of controversial hotly contested fights with a bum

You can’t complain about canelo’s career up to now. He Fought the big names because he wanted a Floyd fight and a chance to be the man. Kudos and credit.

Fans need to realize his career is shifting. He is now in the position where Floyd and odh were as the face of the sport and is expected to sell tickets huge. He will need to keep winning to do that so expect to see him fight a Lemuix next rather than a ggg or charlo or Jacobs.

Hopefully after he makes money with fielding and lemuix he can get back to taking on the big names.

No, I didn’t see him ranked as the best. Maybe a few fanboys but that’s it. You said “everyone” which is blatantly not true. He was seen as 3rd at best. I personally had him 4 and felt he was always a little overrated but a very good but far from great fighter. A lot didn’t even have him top 10 and said he’s a bum so if you are going to take the fanboys word as gold you have to take the views that he’s a bum equally as gold
