Is there any buzz at all for the Canelo fight?

I live in an area with a lot of Mexicans and also work with people who ask me about fights and I haven’t heard anyone talk about it or ask about it.

I’d forgotten about the fight myself until Tuesday and even though I have DAZN I won’t be watching.

I remember hearing about how there was no buzz around the Liam Smith fight either but it still ended up selling about 45,000 tickets.

I think it's more a case of it having no buzz for Canelo, rather than no buzz at all.

No buzz for a Canelo fight is very different to no buzz for a Jacobs fight or something.

It'll still sell well and plenty will watch. Just like the Smith fight, it did pretty low PPV numbers for Canelo, but by most peoples standards it wasn't bad at all.

That said, i do still think there will be a pretty big contingent from Liverpool that flew over.

Yes, there is. It's just not your typical PPV event. A lot of people here in Dallas has no idea who he is fighting, but they don't care. They are watching regardless.
