Dazn will just be another platform to have crap fights. Their $10 a month angle is what makes it attractive. Overall same sh**. Different toilet.

good luck to them, but I'm not wasting my time watching fights like Canelo vs Fielding. If I hear it is good, I might stream it the next day. Has DAZN shown a decent fight yet? I don't really keep track of which network or streaming service is "winning".

        You're way off.. 1 million subs at $120 a year = $120 million....

Then add in the revenue from adverts, ticket sales of the event & sponsors.

Don't be surprised if they link in with the bookmakers to start a betting service, quick and easy.....

That was a 1 time event where people probably chipped in and it ended up costing 10 a piece anyway. PPV fights have parties around them. DAZN won't. It will be an additional bill to pay and I doubt that casuals will be willing to pay for it.

DAZN needs a HUGE fight to get people to do the free sign up, then hope some of those people stay.

1 million subs at $10 for a Canelo fight is 10 million, for this fight I don't see DAZN making that much money of it. People will be subscribing and get a free trial for the Canelo fight. What DAZN needs is to keep people subscribed. I did the free trial in Sept. and cancelled right away. I have yet to find the need to re subscribe to DAZN yet. Maybe when there's a big fight I will subscribe for the month and cancel.

Gotta get this DAZN its only 10 bucks per month why not try it out. If DAZN kills 100 dollar pay per views and replaces them with a 10 subscription and can put on some good cards why not. Wilder Fury was a great fight with two good fighters actually fighting each other. Politics are killing the sport and these dudes like Keith Thurman (not just him in particular but all these dudes) ducking number 1 type guys and putting fights on ice forever to fight #10 type guys. Then have the nerve to fight every Blue moon.

JUst because something is cheaper doesn't mean its better. People pay for what they want. There's 2 to 3 PPVs a year. If it's a big PPV people will pay to watch it. Just because DAZN is $10 bucks doesn't mean people are jumping to subscribe. ESPN+ is $5 and has way more to offer than DAZN and people complain about them. I rather spend $120-140 on 2 big PPVs than spend $120 a year on DAZN to watch garbage fights and a good fight here and there twice a month. I pay for Spotify,Netflix, Prime and Showtime monthly because I actually use it more than twice a month and has content that I can watch or listen to 24/7. Monday -Friday and other times on weekends DAZN has nothing on if there is no boxing. And who cares about Bellator, cricket and Japanese soccer.

                    Thats what I was thinking.
They need a bigger fight to lure people in on the free stream and then people will stay.

The best fights they have shown so far were Joshua vs Povetkin and Usyk vs Bellew, those fights were good entertaining scraps with conclusive knockouts to end the fight.

I'm going to watch Canelo vs. Fielding not really for the main event but for the total card. A good number of name fighters are fighting on the card so it makes it more watchable just to see how they look.
