Crawford/Benavidez peaked at 2.8 million, not the Lomachenko card from the weekend. That peaked at 2.1 million.

As for the ratings PBC will get? That just depends on the cards. Some cards will obviously do much better numbers than the other ones.

The ESPN cards doing those types of numbers are a bit of an anomaly though as they come with a great lead in. By comparison, Lomachenko/Linares averaged 1.4 million and peaked at like 1.75 million. Crawford vs Indongo averaged about 961k and peaked just over a million. The FOX PBC cards will not be getting close to the lead ins those ESPN cards do with the Alabama football games or the Heisman Trophy presentation.

I think you will see some PBC FOX cards average around 2 million and peak close to 2.3-2.5 million while others do like 1.5 million average and peak at 2 million. You put some great match ups and big names? Then you are talking Thurman vs Garcia or Porter type of numbers.

      They should do okay.
Their version of 24/7 with the Charlo's aired last week and got around 1 Million. That's a good indication.

Like someone said they should avg around 2 to 3 million per show.

The ESPN shows will do good also even without the lead ins.

I believe those shows ended up doing like 700k and 650k. I can be wrong though, thought I read that.

But unlike the previous PBC shows on FOX, they are promoting these fights a lot more. You got so much more shoulder programming and they keep promoting the Charlo brothers card during football games. There is something else they are running next week on Saturday afternoon with Coppinger and then there is another hour long PBC behind the scenes show airing right after.

So if the Charlos with all this promoting don't average close to 2 million, it will be a bit disappointing IMO. Haymon went with these guys to kick off the new deal for a reason.

think they need to do 5 million monthly for it to do good ratings after all I believe that's similar to what the ufc was doing before they began negotiating

5 million monthly so as in per show? HELL no it won't do 5 million a show and the UFC certainly weren't doing those types of numbers either.

Very true I think promoting showing them during a football game does a great job with developing star power of an individual athlete however if you want to build a brand and consistant audience it might be better to do it the way top rank is by consistantly finding the audience until they become fans and start looking for it..

Just because they are on fox doesnt mean that the overall brand of pbc will succeed.

Except the fact they are paying the PBC like half of what they paid for the UFC rights. They don't need to peak at 4 or 5 million, that just isn't simply true. And you aren't peaking at that number unless you have a top level match up with two good names. You will need to put a Thurman vs Spence fight on there to reach that number or match ups like that one.

And FOX is keen on doing PPVs. They don't want to change that part of their model. So what is to say they even care about putting on top level match ups? Maybe they are fine with getting good names but then putting the top match ups on PPV?

Still obviously they need to get some elite level match ups on FOX as not everything can go on PPV.
