Comments Thread For: Davis on Pedraza KO vs. Loma's UD: 2 shots vs 43 shots, You Pick

Jose Pedraza's first loss was by brutal seventh-round stoppage at 130 pounds against southpaw Gervonta "Tank" Davis in January 2017, and his second, at 135 pounds by unanimous decision to left-hander Vasyl Lomachenko on Saturday night.

I'd care more about this back and forth if I thought it would lead to a fight between them but it's pretty clear Loma is going to stay with ESPN and Tank with Fox/SHO and the promoters and networks will not work with each other.

Before Loma v Pedraza I never thought Tank stood a chance against Loma because ur only as good as your last fight and Loma looked terrible and completely beatable.

I believe I even bet someone on here that Loma wins over Davis but I no longer feel that way. Unless Loma just didn't give a shyt about his training or couldn't get up (pause) for Pedraza then I'd put my money on Davis now.

This is THE fight at 130 or 135 now. If the old Loma doesn't show back up then Mikey beats him all day and so does Tank.

We all know Tank is ducking. Loma move up and fought two Champions, one after another. Fought a champion, had surgery and beat another champion. Tank is fighting a smaller guy who is not even a Champion and is coming from a loss (Mares).

Nice comeback Tank! Now handle business with Mares, and then call out Mikey Garcia in the post-fight! MAN UP!
