I believe I even bet someone on here that Loma wins over Davis but I no longer feel that way. Unless Loma just didn't give a shyt about his training or couldn't get up (pause) for Pedraza then I'd put my money on Davis now.

This is THE fight at 130 or 135 now. If the old Loma doesn't show back up then Mikey beats him all day and so does Tank.
i dont get this ... so unless a fighter is completely dominant and wins 11-12 rds he looks "terrible"?

most of floyds decisions he gave up atleast 2 rounds. do we call his performances terrible? this is just plain dumb at this point

Wait, but don't you make the excuse that Canelo was too young and green when he fought Floyd? Canelo was 23 and green, Floyd 36 and already past his prime. Tank was 23 and green, Loma 30 and his prime. So what is the difference there? Or just double standards? NOt making excuses for Tank or Canelo, if your a champ and have over 40 fights you should be able to fight anyone.

Davis either has to call out Loma to a fight or just shut his mouth

I never said that he didn't dominate the fight, it was the fashion in which he won it. He seemed lazy and uninterested. I am a big Loma fan so I'm not being bias but I expect a lot from him because he's my favorite boxer.

Floyd was consistent with his approach for every fight. Download data for the first couple of rounds then go to work for the rest of the fight. That wasn't exactly the best comparison to my original comment. The only time I would say that Floyd looked terrible is when he threw caution to the wind vs your avatar pic and abandoned his defensive approach and rushed his shots due to trying to get the stoppage.

Do you think that the Loma that showed up this past Saturday would have beaten Linares a few months back?

Tim Bradley commented on the very same thing that I stated during the fight around round 7ish.

I don't think he looked terrible but I have come to expect more. I think sometimes we just expect a guy to look so great every time and when we do that we are bound to be let down.

He looked a little reluctant to use the right and Pedraza fought a good fight yet Loma still won 9 or 10 rounds. I don't think he seemed as explosive but I am certain he'll be back to his virtuoso best in April.
Nah bro, I didn't make it out to this one cuz I had a busy work week that kinda bled into Saturday.

That's exactly what it is man, I expect so much from him due to the product that he always brought to the ring in the past that a "good" performance from him isn't good enough.

Let's hope that all is well the next time he steps in the ring cuz we all have bad days at work. Maybe I shouldn't have used the word "terrible" because it's gotten a lot more of a response than I can keep up with! Lol.

You catching any of these upcoming fights?

This is agree with. Felt like he just wasn't trying to perform and just get through the fight.

Though I would never bet against Lomo against anyone in or around his weight class though. I think my he out point all of them and if they don't ko him they're not going to win the fight.

Loma’s next fight is to be at Staples Center for April I’ll be at that. Gonna probably check Uztageui-Plant which is supposed to be in LA on a Sunday next month. Nothing in Vegas is grabbing my attention but I think if Crawford-Khan is signed for MSG I’ll make a trip for that.

Yeah, I'm hoping it was a one off performance and we get a 100% effort next time.

I myself would never bet against pre Pedraza Loma.

Nice! I'd love to be at the Uzi vs Plant fight but can't justify flying that far for just a weekend with the kids and all. I was there when Uzi broke down Andre Dirrell in their rematch and he's so damn relentless with big power. Oh man, if Bud and Amir fight at MSG or Barclays I'll be right there with you.
