The rankings by sanctioning bodies has nothing to do with where a fighter is actually ranked talent wise, but has to do with being registered with that body, paying the fees, and fighting fighters also registered to that body. (As well as politics, but that’s not important at this time) Which is why you had Fury ranked top 6 (I believe) with the WBC, but unranked with the other 3 bodies.

And I never said Whyte wasn’t ranked above Ortiz by TBRB, I was showing that Ortiz was top 5 on the big independent rank lists. A good way for them to settle it would be for them to fight each other since they are beside each other in the rankings like you pointed out. Instead Whyte will fight Chisora, who as you mentioned is #7 on TBRB. cool. I missed that. My mistake. To you, 3 vs 7 is a much more compelling fight than 3 vs 4. Again, cool. But I can watch that fight on YouTube.
You said no one I was just poving you wrong, I didn't say they were the most credible. But also if you're going to say their ranking systems mean nothing then neither do the belts themselves.

Just as a note I'd rather see Ortiz vs Whyte to solve the debate of who's better but I can see Chisora rematch as more marketable/compelling to the casuals fans/money especially after narrative and performance from the first fight. How do you sell Ortiz as a fight? "Roll'up roll'up come see Dillian Whyte fight the guy knocked out by the Deontay Wilder!"
It doesn't really have a ring to it and Ortiz can't speak english to sell it.

now AJ wants to rematch a guy hes already beaten....and that guy has beaten lucas browne and about to fight a gatekeeper soon......and beat a guy who could barely lay a glove on joshua and almost got ko'd by him...lol

AJ fans are in such denial about their hero and his fights....
He wants to do what now? Your man Wilder has literally just said that AJ and Hearn are chasing a fight with him. That’s the topic of the article you are posting in.

Apparently that’s a bad thing though, to be begging for a fight that everyone wants to see and many people think he will get knocked out in

Agree on Fury though, he proved that by beating Klitschko and Wilder
I’m a Joshua fan and I have Ortiz at no.4.

If he can’t fight Wilder or Fury next, he should definitely fight Ortiz.

Oh I see all Joshua’s wins get context, but Wilders don’t?

Wlad and Povetkin were old, how old was Ortiz again? How many years had Fury spent as an obese depressed drug addict before the Wilder fight? Parker, Whyte and Takam aren’t that good? How great are Wilders opponents beyond his 2 best (one of which beat him, the other was close to stopping him).

Only Fury can legit say he has wins beyond reproach defeating a 10 year reigning champ in klitshko and (by my and most cards) an undefeated no.2 ranked HW, both in his opponents back yards.

              • Old Hearn in the back seat again with Joshua .If Hearn hadn't been too busy playing the greedy big shot these fights and this one would been made and fans may have already been eagerly awaiting a Wilder v Joshua 2 instead we are all crying out for another 50/50 pick um rematch with Fury v Wilder .

It's a good job Barry Hearn has Joshua on a seven year business plan it may take him that long to get back in to the picture. Edward the puppet seems lost here.

Exactly, great post. He actually owned himself there.

He’s ducking him and he is begging for the fight.

                      This makes sense.
