After Tank beat Pedraza I said give him 2 more fights and he should be ready (& the fight should be hyped enough) by early/middle of 2018. That fight shoulda been made this spring. While Tank is talking, Loma is fighting.

All he had to say was Davis hits harder. Anything besides that is an excuse.

That interview by Lomachenko as embarrassing. Just say it was the shoulder and move on.

Well, I know you’ve used that excuse for Walters (even though you still picked him) and I’ve yet to see you bring it up for Davis-Pedraza, or the mid/late 30s De La Hoya and Mosley (vs. Floyd, the later being 16 months the former being 12) and I think you’ll find nobody mentions the layoffs of Gamboa and Postol (for Crawford) but many of the same folks turning a blind eye will point to Walters’ 10 months out (many of whom picked him).

I was merely pointing out that a lot of the folks ****ting on Loma’s performance didn’t afford Pedraza (vs. Davis) the same excuse they gave Walters.

Yeah, the shoulder is plausible because he did appear to use it less and I’ve got no doubt it had an affect on his strategy. I think he possibly came back too soon and I think he alluded to as much when the fight was being made.

Hmm. Is that why Davis said Mayweather just wants to see him lose when he mentioned the possibility of Davis vs loma?

Don’t forget “It’s not a good idea to fight Lomachenko”, or “Loma doesn’t draw I want to fight Rocky Martinez” when Martinez hadn’t fought in over a year since the KO loss.

Honestly I’m not even that big of a lomachenko fan but the agenda against him on here is ridiculous.

when the fight was initially discussed I picked Walters. When it was signed after his time off I picked Loma. I don't talk about Tank beating Pedrazza. i do discuss the layoff relative to Mosley but not ODH.

It seems like you are being overly defensive of Loma because you like him. As a boxing fan you are aware that time off affects a boxer's performance so anyone suggesting the time off affected Walters is expressing the same opinion you are pointing out here. I don't see why you'd have an issue with someone posting it other than you see it as a personal attack on Loma when it isn't.

It's so childish for you to frame it as sh-tting on Loma's performance. His performance didn't match the pre fight hype so its fair to point that out.

Tank got a KO win and Loma didn't. Posters on NSB prefer KO wins to clear UD's. "beat him better" is such a ridiculous debate anyway. That's the stuff the pac fans used to post regarding common opponents between Floyd and Manny and its really silly.
