They can coast till the Wilder-Fury thing gets done and they still probably get the better deal
Does Deontay Wilder now hold ALL the cards, is he A side now

A-side? No.
Holding the big cards? Yes.
Whoever Joshua faces April 13 is going to look like a fail. Whereas Wilder-Fury will be a big PPV a month or two later.
If they get a big Vegas site fee, plus 500-6000K in PPV sales, you're talking over $50 million in revenue and probably significantly more.
Now the winner of that fight, becomes the A-side. At the very least, 50-50 and/or, in Wilder's case, the fight taking place in the US.Comment

I'm not at all into this Joshua vs Wilder beef but if anything, it looks to me the reason they are calling him up is just because they want to be the first one to offically beat Wilder because they know Fury would box his ears off in the rematch. So if anything, I'd say they are scared of Fury. Scared of Fury giving him an L before the Joshua fight.Comment

No they won't.
And outside of Joshua, who cares about Fury or Wilder being A side against other fighters. That A side will deliver nothing but crumbs. They won't be getting anywhere near to the payday they got fighting each other.Comment

Why would AJ care if his fights loo like fails to some as long as he cashes a gigantic check as he always does. Unless AJ loses a fight he is probably never going to give anybody a 50/50 split. He will always demand more money than the challenger as is his right as the holder of 3 of the 4 important world title belts. The lineal title is a myth that carries no weight in negotiations.A-side? No.

Tbh, fury should have more leverage than wilder at this point. He’s the guy who actually won. If wilder makes a fight with aj, fans are gonna be like “what about fury”? He’s gotta finish that business at the very least to even hold half the cards.Comment
