I think it has more to do with where he was raised .
Wilder has that Southern accent that makes people sound as if they're dumb .
But that ain't shet compared to some U.K accents. I just saw the Canelo/Fielding promo on DAZN . They needed subtitles for Fielding ... and he was speaking English .
Nope he is mispronouncing words completely, nothing to do with his accent.
mate, he struggles to pronounce basic words, come on
ive never understood why so called boxing fans try to focus in on these king of things with certain fighters, its like u are trying to find something to complain about for no damn reason. He is a professional boxer not a english major or a spelling bee champ. Gee wiz

I didn't focus on it. Someone hilariously called him well spoken, I simply corrected him. Get the sand out of your vagina, woman.

im a grown man, hes well spoken and gets his points across why is it even a topic??? English itself is a bastard language. You all proclaim to be these upstanding people but call men out of their names at the drop of a dime over a small disagreement or situation as this one.
Yeah that pissed me off. Its ok to not know boxing but its another to claim you're a fan and then say crap like that.
It's been dead in the US for years. Why do you think the WBSS couldn't get TV in the US? The networks and public don't care about cruiserweight.
Boxing is a global sport. There are 17 weight classes. Few, if any, networks are going to focus on 17 weight classes. In the US, for whatever reason, HBO & SHO largely ignored cruiserweight.

You could say the same of the sport in general. And just because its not popular that doesn't mean it isn't a good division.
CW is the one of the most exciting divisions in boxing, it's full of killers.
Joe Rogan DKSAB.
You DKSAB. If you enjoy cruiserweight, that's great, but you should know that cruiserweight essentially doesn't exist in the US market. HBO & SHO have ignored it for decades.
