I expected Lampley to be emotional but I wasn't expecting Roy Jones' sign off. As my all time fav fighter, he had me emotional. HBO has been a big part of my life since the 80's.

it was extremely sad and surreal. I just cant imagine no boxing on HBO anymore. Just picture those breezy summer nights turning on HBO for some boxing to wind down on your saturday and now it is no more .

I feel the same way. I just can't imagine no more Lampley, Lederman and that production value. It's too bad HBO doesn't come out with a streaming service as well. I would buy it.

A terrible shame they left the sport, so many iconic fights and moments throughout history, they certainly knew how to tell a story and humanise fighters in a sport that has long been considered barbaric
