The ticket prices in the UK are good. They make more money than nearly every fight in the US. It doesn't price fans out of seeing a fight. That can only be healthy for the sport.
There were not thousands of empty seats lol

      That's Wilder logic for you.

Now you have him making excuses after the fight including the one about having a broken arm...you know, around the time when he claimed that he had an "offer" for AJ and passed on signing that contract that was for at least 15 million dollars.

Nice, Pugmire is always on point. I believe the official numbers from the commission will be released soon.

So 17 thousand in an arena that holds 21 thousand seats doesn't have thousands of empty seats?

Just because the arena holds 21k doesn't mean 21k seats were open for the fight. I believe they opened it for 19k or 19.5k.

                • Lol Joshua unified vs Charles Martin on Showtime did 275k views.

But wilder doing 325k Showtime ppv guys at $74.99 is trash lmao. Just go away fast Eddie.

                  • The 325k PPV @ $75 Wilder vs Fury generated more money than any single PPV Joshua has had at $15 euros.

They would have opened up every seat but were seeing how well the tickets were going to sell first. They didn't want to put it out that all seats were open from the off only to have egg on their faces when tickets weren't being sold. Wilder has never sold out an arena thus far so it's understandable. But you saw for yourself how slow the ticket sales were. They even gave a load away as well to fill some of those seats. Americans made comments on the forums about seeing tickets being given away.
