He’s going to be about 230 and he’s coming in for the kill. That means that he will be slower and more flat footed...unless he uses Shilstone lol.

He was 235 pounds in training camp for Molina and weighed 229 for the fight, he bulked up but the reason he stopped lifting weights was because of the bicep tear
Deontay also stopped eating a lot for some reason, a guy his size needs lots of food to keep size, for the molina fight he said he was eating steak and potatos and protien shakes.
If i were him id focus on legs only do calf raises and squats get that base thick, it will amplify his already scary power. So he will be more planted when he throws and can focus on straight shots.
He should only be as high as 225-230 pounds if he goes higher than that it could hurt him more and his punches could be tight making it hardee for him to generate fluidity and power on his haymakers windmills.

A major factor of the match.
But now way Wilder can go up to 245 and be fit in a short amount of time.
I can see him adding 15 to 20 lbs of lean muscle in a year.
Anything more would honestly be su****ious for PEDs.
Nobody can gain 45 lbs of muscle without help.
He better hire somebody that knows what he is doing as a strength and conditioning coach.

If Wilder loses his speed and explosiveness, he's an average heavyweight. I say he's good up to maybe 230 lbs but north of that, it will be hard to maintain the surprise in his punches and he'll never beat Fury.

Wilder needs the extra weight.....
230 is a good weight for Wilder. No need to come in that small because by end of fight he'll be 220 from sweating. I would of thought his trainer, would have focused on adding more weight some time ago. He's already in great cardio condition.
