Fury and his handlers say he was training for a year, but he wasn't at peak match fitness because he had been out for so long and fought one warm up fight (not counting the first one, it was pitiful, at least the 2nd resembled a boxing match).

I expect his weight to come down too, not drastically. This is going to sound abit off too but his movement wasn't as sharp as I've seen it before, the reflexes. I always thought Wilder would KO him because he gives his opponent too many chances, he sticks out his chin and showboats when he gets comfortable and those small lapses of concentration will be costly in a rematch. God knows how he got up from that second shot.

From what I remember, he went to the body early and then pretty much abandoned it. If he targeted that soft core of Fury, I reckon he could have got better results.

I guess a lot of posturing, tongue licking and shoe shining wins you rounds. Fury must've watched a lot of SRL/Hagler prior to facing wilder.

I expect this type of clueless/uninformed opinion from casuals. But known (and mostly respected) names in boxing claiming fury won hands down has led me to believe that people just wanna see wilder fail. I guess wilder picking up boxing late, medaling in the olympics less than 2yrs later and going on to become a world champion has rubbed alot of guys the wrong way. Jealousy is a female trait...

The boxing community in general is becoming less objective and more full of **** by the day.
Yeah i'll take a redbar's opinion over Floyd, Lennox, Roy Jones etc.....

        Wilder lost.

Lets's face it, Wilder had a free shot in the 12th round and still couldn't KO a tired Fury.

I have heard Wilder plans to come into the ring 245 lbs. why ?? To get some weight behind his punches or make him faster? Then when you couple in his new committed body attack for the rematch it’s not looking good for the furious one Lololololol
He was always prepared to take the shots. Getting up, and surviving or throwing back isn't always a choice.

Although I do not believe there to be much more improvement to be had for Fury, he certainly could theoretically come in lighter. I don't think that helps him against Wilder with controlled aggression. More straight right hands aimed at the chest area. Tighten up the overhand right. Those tweaks will allow for either round winning shots or a TKO via accumulation of punches. Searching for the one shot kill was Wilders biggest mistake.

Not only did Wilder look for that big ****, he looked very apprehensive/tense out there - he even said he let the pressure of headlining his first PPV get to him and it affected his performance.

If Wilder sets up his shots better, digs Fury to the body regularly - he'll probably get him out of there second time out.
