Does anyone go for all the Jorge Paez Jr. hype?

They are hyping this kid up. He doesn't look like a promising prospect to me. He was KO'ing his opponents in the beginning of his career now in his last two fights he had to go decision. How many of u consider him a future prospect?

Of the prospects out there I feel he's the best one. The fact that he went the distance in his last two fights is actually good for him. It allows him to get good work in. Prospects can't knock everybody out.

I think he will be a future champ too. But in his last fight he didn't put his punchs together like he usally does and mainly looked for the big ko punch, thats probably do to fighting on ppv and trying to look good by getting a ko. But i think he will be one of the top prospects, as long as he doesn't belive his own hype, camacho jr. imo, belived his own hype and that was the start of his own destruction.

I've seen him fight twice, he's looked pretty average.

he's good, and at the same time he's green and just needs some more experience.

he's got a decent defense(still needs improvement), good hand speed, good footwork and balance, he's ring smart, all he needs is some more experience and he's golden.

i think in a couple of years time that he can be champ. we just have to wait and see.

i like the fact that he isnt knocking out everyone he fights, that way he knows he has to fight, he learns how to dig down inside and pull out the win, knowing that he inst going to get the knockout. it's good for him mentally as well as physically.
if he blows everyone out the water then gets into a tough and gritty fight he might not know how to adjust if he is used to KO'ing everyone.....a la joel julio, in his last fight he was very one dimensional trying to go for the KO instead of out pointing his opponent.

getting a distance win is better for a prospect then getting a KO.

Paez Jr is good and i think is only going to get better.........

Every prospect gets hyped up. I don't really follow any prospects until they get close to fighting for a world title.

Forget Paez, I can't believe how much hype Andre Ward gets and he's looked terrible in fights against random white guys...
