Worse Thing I Saw in Loma Yesterday

Loma couldn't cut off the ring, he was just following Pedrazza around. Even when the guy was hurt and tired, Loma still couldn't put him on the ropes or cut him off at the corners. Loma has always been described as having great footwork but it was not on display last night.

If Loma's future fights are not great performances I think people will look back at the Pedrazza fight as the beginning of a past prime Lomachencko.

he dropped him twice and won almost every round. he looked a whole lot better against pedraza did than crawford did against someone outside the top 30 with one working knee

Okay... but I still wasn't impressed with his footwork, defense, or his ability to cut off the ring. As a matter of fact, the reason Pedrazza loss that fight imo is cause he has no power, if he did have power Loma would of been in trouble with all the shots he took to the face and body.

Loma took way more shots last night than he normally does...are you trying to defend Loma for whatever reason? Is he beyond criticism for you? It wasn't a great performance by Loma, I'd say it was pretty bad for a guy of his caliber.

True but that post fight interview, he wasn't a happy camper, I saw concern on his face, he might not get back to top form. That's how this sport is.

no hes not beyond criticism but im not going to criticise him when he landed over twice as many shots as his opponent, made him miss 800 times, won almost every round and dropped him twice after coming off from surgery.

He got hit more than usual...no suprise he aint as sharp as before when he fought consistently. He will be ok......for now.

My concern is him moving up. He can brush off Manny as old but that fight would not be easy at all
