What does this 1.2 1.4 and 1.5 ratings mean? If those numbers represent 1.2 to 1.5 million viewers it is not that great.

Hell even HBO not so many years ago considered ratings like that the norm.

No, so when it says 1.2 rating, I believe that is the percentage of possible viewers for ESPN.

The viewership number will likely average in the 1.5 to 1.7 million if I had to take a guess.

Like for example:

PBC Countdown: Jermall Charlo vs. Willie Monroe Jr.’ drew a favorable 1.0 overnight rating (roughly 1.2 million viewers; final figures to come Tuesday morning) for its 11:00pm timeslot
