Comments Thread For: Photos: Lomachenko Drops, Decisions Pedraza To Unify Belts

Lomachenko, Pedraza Fight Photos Gallery - WBA lightweight champion Vasiliy Lomachenko wanted to unify lightweight world titles. After 12 rounds, he got his wish, although WBO champion Jose Pedraza sure didn't make it easy and halted Lomachenko's eight-bout knockout streak in the process. (photos by Mikey Williams).

Loma knocked him down too late, and made me lose the bet on him winning between the 9th and the 11th.

    Damn.

Triple H would give Loma the pedigree and beat him easy

          Styles make fights.

Just because fighter A and fighter B both fought fighter C, and A KOd him early and B got the decision, that doesn't mean A necessarily beats B or that A is even better than B.

Pedraza also looks a lot better than he did when he fought Tank IMO.

Plus Loma didn't want to throw that right hook. I think he basically said to himself "unless I 100% need it I'm not throwing this punch" so he wouldn't risk re-injuring it.

The size difference played a big role. Loma spend half the night trying to figure out how to get a in.

No, he's become a more intelligent fighter, wasting less energies.

Still too little for Loma - but he fought well.
