Different refs, man.*shrugs*
The key element to understand here though is that this is about fighter safety, not about granting some advantage to one side or another... if Reiss decided that he ain't sure if he was endangering Fury by allowing him to continue (and his uncertainty is understandable given the apparent severity of the second KD) then he's obligated to check to make sure he is before allowing the fight to go on. If Dock had felt Pedraza may not have been in a fit state to continue then he would have been failing in his duty if he hadn't made further checks or waved the fight.
Two different refs, two very different KDs. If Reiss had been officiating here and Jose had been knocked from his feet and apparently lost conciousness then we could start talking about incompetence or bias, but this just a different situation.
Besides - I just counted the clock and from Pedraza touching down to the fight continuing was some 17 seconds, which is probably pretty normal I think (it didn't seem like a particularly fast or slow restart)... just that folk have made a lot of the Wilder - Fury fight for some reason.
Oh yeah. And Tank's a fine young fighter, man. Hopefully we get to see that fight one day. Just hope Gervonta keeps his discipline and doesn't let out of ring **** get in the way.
