He's definitely a supreme talent. Who is he signed with? Any big promoter or going the Ennis route?

Ennis just got passed up once he didn't qualify for the Olympics. Simpson obviously would be a hot name for all the big promoters.

It just makes sense to do your own thing early on. Allows you to get more fights and fight when ever and wherever you want. Eventually he can sign with someone, but doesn't need to right now.

Cong**** to Lorenzo on his pro debut, the 1st of many for sure BUT looks like a AWFUL Stoppage from the Ref! Anyway, Elite Talent And Prospect For Sure, the sky is the limit for him. I see some very Special Talent on the rise in the American Amateur Ranks and he was one of them along with Khalil Coe, Quinton Randall, Keyshawn Davis, Delonte Tiger Johnson, Duke Ragan, Marc Castro, Richard Torrez just to name a few. So I kinda laugh seeing fans on this for particularly trying to talk like American Boxing is Fading

He's not with one of the big promoters/advisors so he is able to get more fights and that really helps a young fighter progress. Compare where is at with Russell, a guy who beat him in the Olympic trials. Night and day. Ennis is ready to fight contenders at WW and Russell? Well not quite ready yet.
