Comments Thread For: Sanchez: Canelo Trilogy Will Not Influence GGG Network Decision

Former middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (38-1-1, 34 KOs) is still the biggest network free agent in the sport. The once-beaten boxer has held discussions with ESPN, DAZN and Premier Boxing Champions. In September, Golovkin suffered the first defeat of his career when he lost a twelve round majority decision to Canelo Alvarez at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Their first bout, which took place in September 2017, ended in a controversial twelve round split draw.

Golovkin need a few easy money fights and retire.

I am not interested in a third fight because I bet my 7 acres land that Canelo have his number and he going to TKO or KO Golovkin with body shots Aka. Ward vs Kovalev 2, but in a convincing fashion and nothing controversial.

PS: I notice in the Tyson Fury vs Wilder fight that Golovkin was uncomfortable when the cameras pointed him. Also I notice he gain a few pounds with his cheeks in a round manner.

Golovkin should just retire. If a network picks him up they shouldn't give him more than a couple of fights deal. He's looking to pick up easy cheques fighting bums again.

GGG should provide more exciting fights, fighting Canelo again he'll lose worse.

I agree with you 100%. He’s not worth but maybe 1-2 more fights. They should also throw in that bum Robbie Barrett to pad his record. You’re spot on bro.

Of course it will. GGG choose not to unify the division because of Canelo

This decision wont be any different
