So if it’s arguable that Deontay deserved a draw, why is it so tough to take it one round further and score it a victory for him? You have to draw the line somewhere.
To score the fight a draw, you'd have to give Wilder 5 ROUNDS, FIVE ROUNDS - THAT'S FIVE (5) ROUNDS.

Anyone who scored five rounds for Wilder is just biased or ******ed.

Lol I know. I find it very hard to score three rounds for Wilder, apart from the two knockdown rounds. It’s just too much of a stretch, in my opinion. I’ve seen many fights where one can make the case for a win in either direction; this isn’t one of them. Not even a draw. Just don’t see it.

I'm sorry to say about Rosenthal. But he wrote that in their draw--or any draw--that neither Fury nor Wilder got their hand raised. When in that fight, like all draws, BOTH fighters got their hands raised.
        Jeez.

Cool that he's not bothered by the vitriol of mindless crowds.

Boxing fans can be big cry babies, wtf!

You didn't agree with the scoring, fine, gtfo now. Its not like all three jusdges scored it for Wilder, only one.

I didn't like the slow count Rees gave Fury, but I'm not going to cry about it for a week.

            ****ing fan boys.

You want to see a Robbery watch Whitaker-Chavez, maybe Mosley-DLH II.

People always scream robbery after a close fight. Lame. Fury won more rounds. Wilder scored more KD's. A draw is more than reasonable.

Funny, watching the fight again tonite. Wilder looks like an amateur with just a power shot. All those years in the gym and his fundamentals are still lousy. I can’t defend him anymore. He needs more gym work, maybe a better trainer.

When Wilder dropped Fury, he was swinging away like a amateur. Great fighters put together their shots well and end the fight when they have their opponent hurt. Wilder won (2) rounds seeing the fight again, both rounds he knocked Fury down. And the last round could have been arguably 9-9. Without that knockdown in the 12th by Wilder, it would have been scored a split decision for Fury because the last judge had it 113-113.

Great article. Sound points, such as Fury outlanding Wilder by only 1 or 2 punches in some rounds, and Wilder clearly being the bigger puncher. Most rounds were tough to score. Odd how people can really hate on this article. He put some facts out there that are pretty hard to argue.

a much better point was in the breadbag earlier today.....

as well as landing more punches, Fury controlled the fight and displayed superb defense..... making Wilder miss big time..... which cannot, and should not, be ignored
