"Here’s the result of the poll: six scored the fight for Fury, three for Wilder and five had it even. Like the punch stats, such a poll doesn’t prove anything. It does give you an idea that more knowledgeable boxing people than you might realize don’t believe Fury was cheated.

Some pointed to the opinions of Floyd Mayweather and Paulie Malignaggi (who took part in the poll) to support their case for Fury. They had Fury winning by large margins. I respect their opinions but they might be biased in one sense: They both fought like Fury, avoid being hit and land just enough punches to win fights."

Great points, good article! REMATCH IN THE UK! MAN UP!

Great Article. My argument about a rematch being needed isn't even about the scoring though, as I have stated before. It is about the KO that should have been called when Fury lied motionless with his eyes closed. Refs call fights when they see that. Fury even said he couldn't feel his legs at first when he "woke up."

The ref said since the fight was SO, SO, CLOSE, and neither fighter took much damage, he wanted to give Fury every chance possible to continue. If that is normal procedure, why didn't the ref kneel over Amir Khan counting to 10 after Canelo knocked him out?

God give me strength are you trolling now. ?. The Nello v Khan ref had probably seen highlighted reel of Khan getting koed. He knows what Khan looks like. Your not giving like for like comparisons.
Fury has never been.koed, never lost. He got up in round nine even. The ref knew fury was ahead on.points. Knew fury hadn't taken much.punishment. Knew only 2 minutes to go. Are yountrolling?
Do you like premature stoppages and dodgy hometown decisions?

No. I am simply saying that when a ref sees a boxer take a huge shot that renders him unconscious, instead of kneeling down next to him and start counting, the fight is waved off, mostly for the safety of the boxer. Does it matter if it is 5 seconds or 5 minutes?

Try to find an example of a boxer knocked unconscious where the ref counted instead of calling it.

The issue is the judge that scored it for wilder gave him the first 5 rounds. Which everyone knows is BS

That's not how it works, beyond the 2 knockdown rounds there are still TEN rounds in play. Working it out the way you do, if Wilder has 4 points from the two knockdown round, and there are 10 points up for grabs, that means Wilder needs 3/10 to make it a draw

Wilder needs three other rounds for the draw

I swear wilde r fans trying to divert attention away from ribbery. Talk about anything else other than robbery. attention
The ref gave his talk to fighters before fight. The fighters knew what was expected of them and ref.
Fury wasn't unconscious. If safety is of so paramount importance why didn't ref just g I've warning to fighters to not hit each other.
Wilder only hope is opponent don't get up. When they do wilders.lost. Excuses after excuses. Of course you want ref to wave fight off prematurely and it's not for safety for boxer that's for sure
