I agree. I'm not even that confident that he'll beat Broner. It was pretty apparent from round 1 that Matthysse was a shot fighter who just showed up for a paycheck. Manny couldn't even handle Jeff Horn, guys in their primes like Spence and Porter would put a beating on old Pacquiao.

yup Horn just muscled him up bad, Pac of old would have finished him in round 9, but after that round Pac was so tired he didnt even throw anymore punches except for a few.

        Crawford destroyed Horn

This Broner fight was a meter, and I think Pacman will have his hands full

You are so completely and ridiculously anti Pacquiao that your opinion shouldn't even count. You pick against him every time without fail so if he loses you will be right. You even picked Rios to knock him out with a left jab FFS! You were dead sure that would happen. Pacquiao is a solid favorite to beat Broner. I guess the pro odds makers who do that for a living think more of Pacquiao's fighting skills than you do.

Yes, Matthysse was shot but he crushed him and that's all he can do. He easily beat Horn in spite of Horn being allowed to use every dirty tactic in the book but he got home country robbed. He landed twice as many punches as Horn so he handled him well. Pacquiao easily beat Vargas who held Broner to a draw. Yes he is way over the hill but he can still fight.

Paquia could be in for a rude one with Broner you act like Broner is washed up that dude only 29 Pacman is damn near 40 and been in way more damaging toe to toe wars in his 20 something year career.

Broner got an iron chin and the philly shell, Pacman might win on outworking him but he wont hurt him or score clean shots because Pacman has trouble with the shoulder roll floyd style stance

Danny Garcia knocks Pacman spark out it will be similar to the Amir Khan vs GArcia, Khan was outboxing Garcia but then Garcia only needs and looks for that power shot and its out.

Pacman cannot take a punch from these young guns.
              Garcia knocks him spark out.
Spark out? Are you a Fury copycat now? Isn't just knocking him out without the Spark good enough for you?

Not all the PBC welters. PBC has a whole lotta wws. There is Berto, Alexander, Guerrero, Vargas, Lopez, Collazo and many others. Pac can still beat at least a couple of them.

What are you wanting to bet? Hectari said AB might be tailor made for Pac, but that all the top PBC ww's would beat Pac.

                  Broner isn't even a welterweight.

If Pac fights Danny Garcia, Mikey Garcia, Spence, Thurman, or Porter I'm down for that bet.

Broner definitely has a real chance to win. His problem is that he likes to cover up, focus on defense, and not throw anything. And while he is great at defense, at not getting hit, he doesn't win any rounds because he doesn't throw anything back.

                    Wrong.

If Pac was in his prime, then the fight would never have lasted 9 rounds. Pac would have finished him by 3 or 4.

I don't think people understand quite how meaningful that fight was. How much have Pac degraded to struggle with the likes of Horn?

Is he even 75% of the fighter he was?

Exactly as you said. AB isn't active enough to beat Pac, much less outpoint him.

However, hectari said that age could be a factor, that he had trouble hitting May due to his style and that he'd be eating uppercuts all night.

He might get hit with one or two, but Pac even at this stage is far superior to Broner in every way.

Which is why I wanted the bet
