I dont have BT, so maybe Im not reading it right from the headlines but it sounds like Shane was saying that he would fight Floyd "after" a couple of more fights. That sounds like the ole Ricky Hatton trick. Shane is a clown and I hope he loses now. On the other hand, maybe Oscar wont let him fight Floyd because he's scared Shane might beat him before he gets the big fight. I doubt it though, I think Shane just doesnt want it.
Shane is out the picture now and I still say there's no way Floyd turns down the 8mil from Margarito. I say he still waits to see if there's any kind of chance Vargas will fight him but in the end it will be Margarito. Vargas is like Shane, in that he doesnt seem to want to fight Floyd right now either.
The real question is what is up with Vargas & Shane? These guys both fought well in there last fight and they look huge compared to Floyd. How in the hell can they not want to fight him right now? This is the only time they would have a chance to beat him. If there not fully confident they can win now, then what makes them think they will win later when Floyd is more use to the weight?
Floyd had 6 names on his list. Vargas, Mosley, Cotto, and Hatton all say they wont fight him now. So its down between Margarito & Baldy and again, there is no way he fights Baldy for that chump change and he wants a big PPV fight and you know Baldy wont bring that.
I think its down to Margarito but I think there is a outside chance he fights Spinks if he wins but I hope not. I dont think anyone wants to see Floyd fight another lefty right now and e****ally one like Spinks. The Margarito fight will happened but Im not sure when. Floyd doesnt seem to want to fight in October and also he wont have his 2nd trainer back from suspension then. Arum doesnt want the fight in November because its too close to the Pac-EM fight. I think Floyd ends up fighting Margarito in December.
