But wilder didn't even hit him with the right and almost knocked him out. IDC about how *****ry his footwork is, he only needs to connect one time, the dude only weighed 212 and still hits like a mack truck.

It is good for boxing to have this rematch. Hopefully more people tune in and the fight lives up to the hype!Comment

Wilder will win the rematch.
How can Tyson fury improve on that performance? Whereas wilder can improve and will be betterComment

The problem in a rematch is that Wilder has to make a massive amount of adjustments. Fury simply needs to be Fury, keep his hands up and have a good camp. In a rematch, on neutral territory, Fury wins easy by UD.
Wilder is a great promoter but fighters like Wilder are not new or special...they get out boxed. Wilder is a puncher like Ernie Shavers or George Foreman but without their skills.Comment

Can't complain about the fight but Wilder has turned the WBC mandatory position into a joke it could well be literally be years between defences yet again and those people who wanted Whyte and Ortiz to fight for mandatory to mandatory must be feeling pretty ****** that position is worthless.Comment

Fury will want the rematch in the UK where they can make more money and Fury cant be robbed. Team Wilder wont be having any of that, they will want it in the States where it could make less but Fury can be robbed again. Same reason they wouldnt sign the Joshua contracts, they wont sign up until they get that 1st fight in the States.Comment

The WBC does a good thing and of course fans are still going to **** on them because that is what fans do.
Can anyone here tell me anything about how the WBC and the WBC alone got the overt criminal element out of boxing?
Nope, instead they have tinfoil hat theories for why the WBC are the criminals they chased out.
I'm not a fan of the WBC because Wilder has their title. Sometimes I wish he had any other title but theirs because it's sad how often the WBC gets hated because people hate the title holder. There's no reason to disrespect the WBC. The WBC is boxing.
I mean that without hyperbole, exaggeration, or y'all's generational understanding of what a fact is. The WBC was formed in the 1960s by combining the UK's National Sporting Club, 1890s, now BBBofC with the International Boxing Union, 1910s, now EBU and the NYSAC, 1920s. They wrote the rules kids. They are the sport. No one allows rabbit shots because the WBC said not to. All other belts require WBC recognition before they're considered legitimate by the industry.
Everyone should respect the WBC. Without the WBC boxing would still be illegal and ran by criminals. Not tinfoil hat theory criminals, actual criminals who ran from the law.Comment

Tyson doesn't need to improve on anything other than better conditioning. On the other hand Wilder would need to be an entirely different fighter than he's been his whole career.
At this stage Wilder might be able to improve little things but it's not enough. It would take years and years of training to fix the fundamentals Wilder is missing. If he can't knock you out he'll lose every time, he's a punchers but that's itLast edited by factsarenice; 12-07-2018, 03:56 PM.Comment
