Prime Winky Wright vs Prime Lara

This is one of my favorite fantasy fights. Both have great ring iq, high-guard defense, and tremendous boxing ability. I favor Winky by a hair due to his work rate, jab, and he was better at fighting on the inside. But I could see Lara out-boxing him. Thoughts?

I disagree. I could see 7-5 for Winky but Lara gives him some problems because Lara is a soutpaw also, has a really good jab, and tremendous footwork, and countering ability.

Lara is not really hard to hit and i see Winky walking him down as he cuts the ring off well and Lara really is not that active

Winky was a really strong 154lber, I don't think.it would be completely one sided Lara too good of a fighter for that. But it will follow a similar pattern to the Hurd fight. Winky walking him down and landing behind a good defence. Might even score a knockdown. 9-3 Winky

They were both very good but I think Wright was better. Lara can be a runner but Wright always stood his ground and blocked punches. Wright had a tighter defense and a better jab in my opinion. They were both decent punchers but not big punchers. Their power seemed about the same. I think Wright would win a close fight.

When was Winky successful coming forward? In all his biggest wins - Mosley and Trinidad - he was working from defensive position. Stylistically Lara is bad for him. This clash of styles is a recipe for boring uneventful fight. Not to mention two southpaws.
