Compiled Media Scores for Wilder-Fury

Incidentally I think I will add some pro boxers' scores to the list, after all it's usually traditional for this kind of summary. And why should that little weasel Malignaggi be counted when other boxers aren't just because he has a commentary job?

I scored it 114-112 Fury btw, but never once thought the draw outcome was a robbery. More than a few rounds where very little happened. Fury would throw his late round combo, but in other parts of the round the Wilder jab was actually the most effective punch of the round. So who do you score the round to? I believe the 4th round where Wilder bloodied Fury's nose, it was a tight close round but his stiff jab at mid point was clearly the best shot of the round. I gave that round to Wilder, while some disagreed. That's fine, but this wasn't a Mayweather/Canelo situation at all where there was NO way you could come away with a draw in that fight. I thought Fury was the better boxer and edged it. But flip one of the rounds which was a toss up and we have a draw.Fury won 10 rounds on your scorecard but most other scorers gave Wilder 1 or 2 or even 3 of the rounds that he didn't didn't score a knockdown in. Wilder was the aggressor and threw more and harder punches all fight. According to computer count Wilder outscored Fury in one of the non knockdown rounds. There were rounds where Fury landed only 5 light punches and Wilder landed maybe 4 harder punches. Did Fury really win a round like that? I think Fury deserved the win but I think the fight was close enough not to be called a robbery. 40% of viewers thought Wilder won or earned a draw and if it was a robbery the percentage would be much lower.Comment

I told you my experience on press row. If you want an independent comparison of experts, I provided BoxingScene's article. We're posting on BoxingScene after all. Both my experience, and BoxingScene's collection of interviewed experts resulted in the same results. 40% Draw, 40% Fury, 20% Wilder. So the official result being a draw isn't a "robbery."
You expanded the list. Adding whoever you wanted. And wound up with 60% Fury. Which means 40% not Fury. Which means still not a robbery.
Yet you keep arguing with me anyway. No matter how you slice it, draw was a fair result. If that bothers you for some reason, that's your problem.Comment

I scored it by one point for Wilder. It wasn't a robbery it was an entertaining fight. Fury was throwing in combination but he missed a lot or they were blocked completely or partially. There were a few replays where they were trying to show some of Fury's punches and they clearly missed or were blocked. A draw was not outrageous.I told you my experience on press row. The list is the way I made it because no-one (including you) has disputed or added to any of the entries on it. If anyone suggests changes, I will listen to them. You expanded the list. Adding whoever you wanted. And wound up with 60% Fury. Which means 40% not Fury. Which means still not a robbery.

And I'm arguing with *you*? You're still posting in my thread, AFTER you said it was ****** and you wanted nothing to do with it.

Will you be at tomorrow's fight? Or next Saturdays (since you "work for DAZN")?
Can probably work something out there.
I don't see why you'd be so scared of revealing your name. What's the worst that could happen? Not asking for you SSN or address or even the city you live in.Comment

Wilder Fanboys - "Robbery of the decade"
